really really a poor thing...i still detest the sight of syringes.....tho' have seen them all my life thanx to my parents being docs!! got my blood checked up a month back or so and almost screamed at the clinicians when i saw the amount of blood they witdrew from my veins......My precious blood!!! :DDD

Yes, I hate needles too. There were experimental trials on syringes without needles a few years ago. It probably didn't hit the market :(

also, i think i saw it on deviantart.com and i think i remember it being a post-911 politically-motivated piece...
