havent seen the movie...infact havent seen any of shymalan's movie after sixth sense ....tho' intend to wacth his latter works sometime despite all the criticism.........(out of curiosity, does he enjoy a demi-goddish status in Kerala).And you r right, the violin gets really intense in the scene...u a music lover???? (how un-intelligent of moi, who isn't!!!!) :)
english movies are not that popular in kerala. It's so easy to get tickets :) I don't think Shyamalan is very popular either in kerala.
He is said to have read kerala literature on ghosts,witches etc...and it seems that he is able to redo the script for a western setting.(Just like bollywood copies scripts from foreign books and bring it in line with the Indian setting.
