for some reason the word "vortex" came to mind as soon as I saw the image!!!!!
the post reminds me, have you seen the movie "aviator" , o' movie buff :)
its just the engine to me :) hahah-yes i've seen Aviator :-)
It scares me! :)
I always think, "what if you get caught in the blades?"...and the latest US Airways jetliner and the geese...{{{shudder}}}.
o well, geese getting into the engine is a rarity and happens only during take off and landing. plus you always can jump out of the plane strapped to a parachute :-)
